“Development of Business Consulting Points in Territorial Communities of Ternopil Oblast” is a project about new opportunities for local entrepreneurs.

Project Goal: To create a favorable environment for the development and effective operation of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSME) in Ternopil Oblast.

Project Impact

The project’s mission is to ensure that local entrepreneurs, including representatives of relocated businesses, internally displaced persons (IDPs), youth, women, the elderly, and persons with disabilities, can effectively develop their businesses and always have access to the information and opportunities to support them.

Results

• 8 business consulting points in territorial communities of Ternopil Oblast based in Administrative Service Centers (ASCs) are equipped, providing them with the necessary furniture and office equipment. These include: Bilobozhnytsia TC, Pidhorodne TC, Ozerna TC, Lopushne TC, Kupchyntsi TC, Kozova TC, Vyshnivets TC, and Ivane-Puste TC.
• The “Business Consultant School” training course was organized and conducted. It consisted of 3 offline training sessions for 50 employees of the business consulting points network in the territorial communities of Ternopil Oblast. In total, 150 specialists participated in the training.
• 5 online webinars on providing services to entrepreneurs regarding business creation, development, and scaling were held. These were attended by over 250 representatives of local self-government, business representatives (including relocated businesses), specific demographic groups (youth, women, the elderly, persons with disabilities), as well as IDPs residing in the region.
• An awareness campaign was conducted to promote business information points at the local and regional levels.
• A workshop on the creation, development, and scaling of businesseswas hosted in the Ternopil region for 40 internally displaced persons currently residing in Ternopil Oblast, as well as individuals eager to start their own ventures.
• A forum was organised to establish partnerships among communities, government authorities, business networks, private and public MSME service providers, and other stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive and systematic approach to business support and service delivery.

The project “Development of Business Consulting Points in Territorial Communities of Ternopil Oblast” is executed by the Center for Development of Initiatives “InSource” in cooperation with the Ternopil Regional Military Administration within the framework of the “Enhanced Partnering for Sustainable Recovery” project, funded by the Government of Sweden through the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine.
